Burning angel dust
Burning Angel Dust, a compelling, provocative and poetic short film that was inspired to create awareness of the ongoing Female Genital Cuttings/Mutilations that occur globally and right here in our backyards. A brief synopsis: A Nigérienne immigrant struggles to adapt to American life while preserving her cultural customs for her westernized children. Mimi's 10-year-old daughter Violet is excited about her coming of age celebration, but it turns out to be far more life-altering than she could ever imagine as there's a price to keep this tradition alive.
A Brave Face
A young woman attempts a harrowing escape when her life is threatened in the name of honor after being accused of a shameful act by her husband.
